Check out the "Avista Kids" section on the Avista Website!

Become an Avista Kid!

There is something really cool I found on Avista's website: www.avistautilities.com.

Under the "Your Safety" tab, go to "Avista Kids" and then click on "Wattson's World."
It consists of games, coloring pages, puzzles, videos & activities, and lesson plans to teach your children about the environment, energy savings and safety!

PRO is helping with Toys for Tots this year!

Pro Mechanical Services is helping collect toys and money for Toys for Tots!

The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

YOU CAN HELP TOO!
Please donate a toy to your local drop off destination today!  You can go to www.toysfortots.org to find the closest drop off location or you can come say 'Hi' and drop off toys at Pro!

Pro Mechanical Services would like to wish you and yours a very
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

It's that time of year again when we have to start thinking about cold weather and winter quickly approaching!

With winter quickly approaching, now is the time to get your home "energy" ready.

Here are some things you may want to consider doing before it gets too cold:
  • re-caulking around windows and doors
  • checking insulation in crawl spaces
  • check water pipes to make sure they are insulated and freeze protected
  • if your attic is well ventilated and insulated, you will be less likely to have ice dams build up on eves
  • clean out gutters so water doesn't get trapped and freeze
You can find this information and more like it by visiting www.avistautilities.com.

*All of the information was obtained from the article "Gearing up for Winter" by Tom Lienhard at www.avistautilities.com
